Our Craft, Care, and Chat group meets each Wednesday from 10:30am to make beautiful handcrafts and keepsakes to enjoy at home or for our fundraising stalls throughout the year.
Our group is made up of mostly older ladies, but men and women of all ages are always welcome, whether you’d like to work on a craft project or just enjoy a cuppa and some company. We eat our BYO lunch together at 12:30 and in winter we often have a large pot of soup to share. If you’d like to pop in just for lunch, you’d be more than welcome.
On the first Wednesday of each month, we introduce a new group craft that we will be working on during that month or you can bring your own craft along too. We have some avid knitters and card makers in our group. On the last Wednesday of each month, we often do an outing to lunch or Morning Melodies.
The cost for each session is $5 to cover the cost of craft materials, using the space and morning tea, which is provided. Any excess funds, along with money raised from our stalls, goes toward donations to local charities and to supporting those experiencing disadvantage or hardship in our local community
